Dr. Adam MacDonald
Dr. Adam MacDonald earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016, where he not only received an exceptional education but also gained hands-on experience serving as a radiology intern, clinical teaching assistant, and marketing assistant. Prior to chiropractic school, he attended Michigan State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology—laying the foundation for his passion in understanding how the brain and body work together.
Dr. MacDonald is deeply committed to helping individuals and families experience true health by focusing on what matters most—the nervous system. He believes that when the nervous system is functioning and communicating properly, the body is able to regulate, heal, and thrive the way it was designed to.
At MacDonald Family Chiropractic, Dr. MacDonald utilizes advanced Insight scanning technology to assess nervous system function, allowing him to identify areas of stress, imbalance, and dysregulation. From there, he creates personalized care plans designed to restore balance, improve adaptability, and support optimal function for patients of all ages.
He has a special passion for caring for pediatric patients and families—especially those navigating what many call the “perfect storm.” These are the kids and families who have been searching for answers, looking for help with challenges related to focus, behavior, sleep, sensory processing, and overall regulation. Dr. MacDonald is also Webster Certified, allowing him to provide specialized care for women during pregnancy and support them through every stage of their journey—from preconception to postpartum.
His approach is gentle, specific, and rooted in helping the body work from the inside out—without guesswork, and with a clear understanding of each patient’s unique needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. MacDonald enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jen, their three children—Penny, Palmer, and Parker—and their two dogs, Nitro and Dixie. He stays active through cycling, bowling, and golf, and values the balance that family, fitness, and community bring to his life.
Dr. MacDonald is passionate about building meaningful relationships with his patients and their families. He is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and hope-filled environment where every individual feels heard, valued, and empowered on their journey toward better health.
